Social Media Manager

In2itive Biz Solutions

In2itive Biz Solutions is looking for a Social Media Manager who understands that social media is about more than making pretty graphics and posting consistently.

We are looking for someone who can create strong content, think strategically, use AI effectively, pay attention to the details, analyze results, and continually improve what we are doing for our clients.

You will work across a variety of client industries, brands, voices, and audiences. One client may need professional educational content. Another may need engaging short-form video. Another may need storytelling, thought leadership, promotional content, or a completely different approach.

You need to be comfortable switching between them while maintaining the individual voice and strategy of each client.

What You'll Be Doing

Create Engaging Content

You will create and coordinate social media content in a variety of formats, including:

  • Written social media posts

  • Graphics

  • Reels and short-form video

  • Photographs and image-based content

  • Carousels

  • Educational content

  • Promotional content

  • Engagement-focused posts

  • Longer-form written content when appropriate

You should be able to create exceptional copy to accompany the content, not simply generate a generic caption and call it finished.

We want content that sounds like the client, connects with their audience, and serves a purpose.

Use AI Effectively

AI is part of how we work.

You may use AI tools to assist with:

  • Social media captions

  • Content ideation

  • Research

  • Blog articles

  • Email newsletters

  • Content repurposing

  • Headlines and hooks

  • Content calendars

However, we do not believe that copying and pasting whatever AI produces is quality work.

You will be expected to prompt thoughtfully, edit heavily, fact-check when necessary, protect client confidentiality, and make sure the final content actually sounds like the client.

AI is a tool. You are still responsible for the quality of the finished product.

Plan Content in Advance

Our goal is to have client content planned at least one month in advance whenever possible.

You will be responsible for helping create organized content calendars that balance:

  • Client goals

  • Content pillars

  • Promotions and campaigns

  • Educational content

  • Engagement

  • Seasonal opportunities

  • Relevant events and holidays

  • Different content formats

  • What previous performance tells us we should do next

We do not want to wake up every morning wondering what we should post that day.

Schedule Content Accurately

You will schedule social media posts across appropriate platforms and ensure they are published correctly.

Attention to detail matters.

Before scheduling content, you should be checking things such as:

  • Correct client

  • Correct platform

  • Correct date and time

  • Correct graphic or video

  • Correct caption

  • Correct links

  • Correct CTA

  • Correct tags or hashtags where applicable

  • Spelling and grammar

  • Formatting

  • Whether everything actually makes sense together

"Scheduled" is not the same thing as "done correctly."

Monitor Performance

You will monitor social media performance and pay attention to what is actually happening.

That includes looking beyond vanity metrics.

Depending on the client, we may be evaluating:

  • Reach

  • Impressions

  • Engagement

  • Engagement rate

  • Video views

  • Watch time

  • Follower growth

  • Website traffic

  • Click-throughs

  • Leads

  • Conversions

  • Content performance by topic or format

We want someone who gets curious about the numbers.

Explain WHY

This is a particularly important part of this role.

We do not simply want reports that say:

Reach increased 17%.

We want someone who can ask:

Why did it increase?

Was there a particular Reel that performed unusually well?

Did one topic resonate with the audience?

Did posting frequency change?

Did video outperform static graphics?

Did a collaboration drive additional reach?

Was there a platform algorithm change?

Did engagement decline because the content became too promotional?

Did website traffic increase without leads because the CTA or landing page was weak?

You do not have to magically know every answer.

You do need to investigate, think critically, identify patterns, and develop reasonable hypotheses based on the data.

Create Meaningful Reports

You will help create regular client reporting that does more than dump numbers onto a page.

A strong report should help us answer:

What happened?

Why do we believe it happened?

What did we learn?

What should we do next?

Our clients should walk away with a better understanding of their marketing, not simply a collection of screenshots and statistics.

What We're Looking For

The right person will be:

  • An excellent writer

  • Comfortable creating content for multiple brands and industries

  • Experienced with major social media platforms

  • Comfortable creating or coordinating Reels and short-form video

  • Comfortable working with graphics and visual content

  • Highly proficient with AI tools

  • Able to edit AI-generated content into natural, high-quality writing

  • Analytical and comfortable interpreting social media data

  • Extremely detail-oriented

  • Organized enough to work several weeks ahead

  • Able to manage deadlines without constant reminders

  • Curious about why content performs the way it does

  • Comfortable receiving feedback and making revisions

  • Willing to ask questions rather than guess

  • Able to research topics and verify information

  • Honest about what they know and what they still need to learn

What This Job Is NOT

This is not a role where you can generate 30 AI captions, paste them into a spreadsheet, and consider the month's work finished.

It is not simply a scheduling position.

It is not just graphic design.

And it is not a position where success is measured solely by how many posts you produce.

We are looking for someone who can combine creativity, writing, organization, analysis, technology, and good judgment.

Our Culture

At In2itive Biz Solutions, we are all humans living this existence and doing our best for our clients.

We do not expect perfection.

We do expect honesty, integrity, communication, accountability, curiosity, and genuine effort.

Our clients trust us with their businesses, brands, reputations, and marketing dollars. We take that responsibility seriously.

We expect you to do your best for the client and to represent your skills and abilities honestly.

If you do not know how to do something, tell us.

If you make a mistake, tell us.

If something does not make sense, ask.

If you see something that could be better, speak up.

We would rather work with someone who says, "I don't know, but I can figure it out," than someone who pretends to know something they do not.

Our Hiring Process

The first step is to submit an application.

We review applications and respond as we are able to schedule interviews with candidates who appear to be a strong potential fit.

Our hiring process may include:

  • Application review

  • Video interview

  • Skills quizzes or assessments

  • Writing or editing exercises

  • Social media analysis exercises

  • Portfolio review

  • Paid test assignments

These steps help us verify skill level and understand how you think, communicate, follow instructions, solve problems, and approach real client work.

A resume tells us where you've worked.

We want to understand how you work.

If you love social media, excellent writing, figuring out why things work, learning new tools, experimenting with AI, and helping businesses make smarter marketing decisions, we'd love to hear from you.
