Ads Manager

In2itive Biz Solutions

In2itive Biz Solutions is looking for an Ads Manager who understands that paid advertising is not about spending money and hoping for the best.

We are looking for someone who can build, manage, monitor, and optimize paid advertising campaigns while keeping a close eye on what actually matters:

Are we reaching the right people? Are we generating the right actions? And does the spend make sense for the client?

This role requires both technical skill and strategic thinking.

You should be comfortable working with data, testing campaigns, troubleshooting problems, explaining performance clearly, and making informed recommendations based on what the numbers are actually telling us.

What You'll Be Doing

Build and Manage Paid Advertising Campaigns

You will create, manage, and optimize campaigns across platforms such as:

  • Meta Ads

  • Google Ads

  • Google Search

  • Google Display

  • Google Performance Max

  • YouTube Ads

  • Retargeting campaigns

  • Lead-generation campaigns

  • Conversion campaigns

  • Local campaigns

  • Other paid advertising platforms as appropriate

Depending on the client, campaigns may be focused on:

  • Leads

  • Phone calls

  • Appointment bookings

  • Website traffic

  • Sales

  • Event registrations

  • Downloads

  • Brand awareness

  • Retargeting

  • Other measurable business objectives

The goal is not simply to launch ads.

The goal is to understand what we are trying to accomplish and build campaigns around that objective.

Think Beyond the Ad

Advertising does not exist in a vacuum.

A campaign may have excellent targeting and strong creative and still fail if:

  • The landing page is confusing

  • The offer is weak

  • The website is slow

  • The form does not work

  • Nobody follows up with leads

  • The sales process is broken

  • Tracking is inaccurate

  • The client's budget is unrealistic

  • The audience does not match the offer

We expect our Ads Manager to notice those things.

You may not own every part of the system, but you should be able to identify where problems may be occurring and communicate them clearly.

Set Up Campaigns Accurately

Attention to detail is critical.

You will be responsible for checking things such as:

  • Campaign objectives

  • Targeting

  • Geography

  • Audience settings

  • Keywords

  • Match types

  • Negative keywords

  • Budgets

  • Bidding strategies

  • Ad scheduling

  • Conversion tracking

  • URLs

  • UTM parameters

  • Forms

  • Calls to action

  • Creative

  • Copy

  • Tracking pixels

  • Account permissions

A small setup error can cost a client real money.

We expect campaigns to be checked carefully before launch.

Monitor Performance

You will regularly monitor active campaigns to identify:

  • Strong-performing ads

  • Weak-performing ads

  • Budget issues

  • Tracking problems

  • Rising costs

  • Declining conversion rates

  • Search-term problems

  • Audience fatigue

  • Creative fatigue

  • Landing-page issues

  • Opportunities for optimization

Paid advertising should not be something we launch and forget.

You should know what is happening inside the accounts you manage.

Optimize Based on Data

You will make informed changes based on actual performance.

That may include:

  • Adjusting targeting

  • Pausing poor-performing ads

  • Testing new creative

  • Testing new copy

  • Changing keywords

  • Adding negative keywords

  • Adjusting budgets

  • Testing landing pages

  • Changing bidding strategies

  • Refining geographic targeting

  • Building new audiences

  • Improving retargeting

  • Reallocating spend

We want thoughtful optimization, not random button pushing.

Every meaningful change should have a reason behind it.

Explain WHY

This is one of the most important responsibilities in this role.

We do not want reporting that simply says:

Cost per lead increased this month.

We want someone who asks:

Why did it increase?

Was competition higher?

Did click costs rise?

Did conversion rates decline?

Did the landing page change?

Did the audience become saturated?

Did the offer perform differently?

Was lead quality poor?

Did seasonality affect demand?

Was tracking broken?

Did one campaign consume too much of the budget?

You may not always be able to prove the exact cause.

You should be able to investigate, identify patterns, form reasonable hypotheses, and explain what you recommend doing next.

Measure What Actually Matters

We care about metrics, but we also care about whether those metrics connect to the business.

Depending on the campaign, you may monitor:

  • Impressions

  • Clicks

  • CTR

  • CPC

  • CPM

  • Conversion rate

  • Cost per conversion

  • Cost per lead

  • Cost per booked appointment

  • Phone calls

  • Revenue

  • ROAS

  • Lead quality

  • Sales-qualified leads

  • Customer acquisition cost

A cheap lead is not necessarily a good lead.

A high click-through rate is not automatically a successful campaign.

And a campaign generating impressive-looking numbers may still be wasting money.

We want someone who understands the difference.

Create Meaningful Reports

You will help prepare client reports that answer:

What happened?

Why do we believe it happened?

What did we change?

What are we testing?

What should happen next?

Clients should understand what their advertising dollars are doing.

You should be able to communicate performance in language a business owner can understand without drowning them in advertising jargon.

Work With Creative and Content Teams

Advertising often works best when the ads team and creative team communicate.

You may collaborate with writers, social media managers, designers, website developers, and project managers to develop:

  • Ad copy

  • Graphics

  • Video creative

  • Landing pages

  • Offers

  • Lead magnets

  • Retargeting campaigns

  • Campaign concepts

You should be comfortable explaining what creative is working and what we need to test next.

Use AI Effectively

AI may be used to support:

  • Keyword research

  • Ad-copy ideas

  • Competitor research

  • Creative concepts

  • Audience research

  • Reporting analysis

  • Data interpretation

  • Campaign brainstorming

However, AI should not be trusted blindly.

You remain responsible for reviewing recommendations, checking facts, protecting client information, and making sure campaign decisions actually make sense.

AI can assist your analysis.

It does not replace your expertise.

What We're Looking For

The right person will be:

  • Experienced with paid digital advertising

  • Comfortable with Google Ads

  • Comfortable with Meta Ads Manager

  • Highly analytical

  • Detail-oriented

  • Strong at troubleshooting

  • Comfortable interpreting campaign data

  • Able to explain advertising performance clearly

  • Familiar with conversion tracking

  • Comfortable working with budgets

  • Able to prioritize profitability over vanity metrics

  • Comfortable testing and iterating

  • Organized

  • Able to document changes

  • Able to manage multiple client accounts

  • Willing to ask questions

  • Honest about what they know and what they do not know

  • Comfortable collaborating with other marketing specialists

Bonus skills may include:

  • Google Analytics

  • Google Tag Manager

  • Looker Studio

  • Call tracking

  • CRM attribution

  • Landing-page optimization

  • Local Service Ads

  • E-commerce advertising

  • YouTube campaigns

  • Conversion-rate optimization

  • Marketing automation

What This Job Is NOT

This is not a position where you simply launch an ad and check it again three weeks later.

It is not about maximizing ad spend.

It is not about chasing clicks, impressions, or other numbers simply because they look impressive in a report.

And it is not about guaranteeing results that no ethical advertiser can guarantee.

Sometimes the correct recommendation may be to increase a budget.

Sometimes the correct recommendation may be to reduce it.

Sometimes the correct recommendation may be to stop advertising until something else in the client's marketing or sales system is fixed.

We want someone who is comfortable making that distinction.

Our goal is not to spend the client's money.

Our goal is to use the client's money intelligently.

Our Culture

At In2itive Biz Solutions, we are all humans living this existence and doing our best for our clients.

We do not expect perfection.

We do expect integrity, accountability, communication, curiosity, careful thinking, and genuine effort.

Paid advertising involves something especially important:

Someone else's money.

That means we expect you to treat client budgets with respect.

Do not hide poor results.

Do not manipulate reporting to make performance look better than it is.

Do not make changes simply to appear busy.

Do not promise outcomes you cannot guarantee.

If something is not working, say so.

If tracking appears incorrect, investigate it.

If you make a mistake, tell us.

If you believe the client should stop spending money on something, speak up.

We would rather have a difficult conversation based on accurate information than continue spending a client's money on something that does not make sense.

Our Hiring Process

The first step is to submit an application.

We review applications and respond as we are able to schedule interviews with candidates who appear to be a strong potential fit.

Our hiring process may include:

  • Application review

  • Video interview

  • Campaign portfolio review

  • Account audit exercises

  • Advertising quizzes

  • Data-analysis exercises

  • Tracking or troubleshooting exercises

  • Paid test assignments

These steps help us understand your actual skill level and how you think about paid advertising.

We are interested in more than whether you know where the buttons are inside Ads Manager.

We want to understand whether you can look at an account and determine:

What is happening, why it is happening, and what we should do about it.

If you enjoy data, testing, strategy, problem-solving, and helping businesses make smarter decisions with their advertising dollars, we'd love to hear from you.
